This is my new screenprint of The Abyssinians (Bernard Collins, Donald Manning and Linford Manning), the legendary Roots Reggae vocal trio.
Satta masagana is the name of one of their most famous and respected songs that has been covered by numerous other artists, becoming a Reggae anthem.
The song, which translates from the Amharic language as "give thanks continually" was originally recorded for Studio One Records in 1969.
Heritage paper mounted on 12mm plywood
