Original artwork description:

During the winter of 2022-2023, Russians were destroying our power system with rockets and drones. Living without electricity and heating in sub-zero temperatures was very difficult. During that winter, streetlights didn't work, and anti-tank obstacles were placed along the roads in some areas. Accidents sometimes happened when a vehicle accidentally encountered an anti-tank hedgehog. Portable generators were buzzing everywhere, and the smell of gasoline was in the air. Everyone passing by had flashlights in their hands. While in this apocalyptic world, I went to Asia for the winter. I moved from one country to another every 2-3 weeks to avoid obtaining long-term visas. Thailand welcomed me with bright sunshine. It was incredibly beautiful. And I thought, "If we, as humanity, didn't spend most of our resources destroying each other, the Earth would be a paradise! Like here, in this painting!"

Thailand Phuket 24х32cm, or 10'x13' inch gouache on paper
