Original artwork description:

This painting is from my Template series and one of several using a deep blue paint against white. This version is painting on Arches Aquarelle archival 400gsm paper which holds the thick paint very well and gives a different effect to painting on canvas. I have developed a method of pouring the paint from a tube which has to be made quickly as there is no room for error, it my own form of calligraphy. The shapes are abstract but come from my experience of urban life living a busy bustling metropolis.
This work is sold framed with acrylic/ perspex front to avoid breakage, however if glass is preferred it is easy to change.

Materials used:

acrylic on 400 gsm archival paper
