Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

'Te-Sin', is a cantonese saying my mother would always throw at me if I did something she didn't agree with. I always thought it meant stupid but it actually translates as 'crossed wires'; meaning your brain is all mixed up - so stupid in a way! This picture depicts just that but I have a bird on my head as it has got caught amongst all the mess in my hair.

Materials used:

Printing ink, thread, wire and fabriano paper.
