Original artwork description:

In a moment of nostalgia, fleeting and rosy, I was reminded of the 1970s, to a New York of battered and boxy yellow cabs, tanks of steel that rattled and clunked, presided over by men in oily garages that smelled of gasoline and nicotine. I loved the red brick, the peeling blue paint on rotten window frames, and the fading yellow of the signage. A lovely addition to any collection of American-themed paintings, a great souvenir of New York.

This colourful, cheerful work is a wonderful addition to any collection, a great souvenir of France. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.

Materials used:

acrylic and card
