I'm a frequent visitor to Tarbert, a fishing town on the banks of Loch Fyne, Scotland.
On this occasion I took the Calmac ferry from Portavadie on the mainland to Tarbert, a twenty five minute crossing and spent some time in the town. In this small painting we see the boat embarking vehicles and passengers for the return journey.
Acrylics on rigid canvas and finished in satin varnish. Fitted with small nickel D ring for hanging.
