Careful strokes of the artist's brush draw the outlines of a tree whose breath can be felt through the canvas. However, this is not an ordinary tree, it grows fruits that resemble a tiny sun. These are tangerines which, due to tones, undertones and the play of shadows, seem real, as if it would not be difficult to pluck them. And then, without special care, to peel them and feel the yellow-orange pulp which consists of many sacs filled with fibre juice that instantly quench thirst.
The artwork highlights slightly winged leaves, some of which carefully cover the fruits from the sun. Orange, green colors stand out brighter against the background of a clear blue sky, giving warmth and comfort to the artwork.
It was considered an honor to own such a tree, because its fruits were the apanage of the wealthy. For this reason, over time, it dug in people's minds as a symbol of well-being.
