Original artwork description:

I am a director of our local plein air group. During a very warm summer we walked a few minutes down a shaded trail to our local park. It follows Deer Creek and is dense with evergreens and pine trees. It was early morning the sun was pouring through the trees across the trail giving me the opportunity to capture deep shadows with bright sunlight.
