'Take Me to Eventide' was created through pure emotion and longing. I dreamed of being home in the UK after a long period away. I imagined the evening sun warming me as it set, and felt the love of family and friends and that feeling you get when you are, at last, at home.
I'm very proud that this painting was just one of my pieces selected for a very important and exclusive exhibition in Kensington, London, which celebrated timeless beauty with contemporary art and antiques and where it hung with works by the likes of Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst.
It is an atmospheric, abstract landscape full of neutral, earthy tones,, subtle blues and warm and comforting gold and red hues. It's painted using quality, high pigmented and light-fast acrylics and glazes on a quality, deep edge, 100% cotton canvas.
Signed on the front and back, my paintings are securely packaged, insured and shipped through a reputable courier to ensure they reach you safely.
Once carefully unwrapped, there is no need to frame as they're all ready to hang in the place you have chosen. The works are painted white on their deep edges.
If you have any questions about 'Take Me to Eventide' or any other piece, just contact me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks so much for taking an interest in my work.
