Artist's description:

This style of painting lives on the precipice of disaster. One wrong stroke can ruin an otherwise good image. Too many cowardly 'safe' strokes make the image weak and hard to make out. I suppose an element of luck is required. The trick is to not care and play with the paint. Very difficult when you do actually care.
This image of Syd Barret the original Pink Floyd Singer fits perfectly. The story of Syd is one of amazing bright, shining light that flickered out and was replaced with darkness. It's a story of Lunacy where one wrong stroke ruined everything.
