282-Swiss Army Frog 2015 Oil on Canvas, (50cm x 70cm)
Fantasy, surreal ,
A small red frog on a Monstera Deliciosa leaf, reminded me of my Vitorinox Swiss Army Knife, though not enough to know where I have left it, unfortunately.
This is painted in memory of all those little frogs left at airports, because they were still in someone's pocket when they tried to pass through security.
The allusion to Swiss-Cheese-Plant (Monstera Deliciosa) ties the real to the surreal, though not particularly to Switzerland. Look out for Swiss Rolls!
Shown here in detail with the exhibition frame, that it will be sold and delivered in. This would enable the painting to be hung immediately while an appropriate, beautiful and justified frame is chosen and procured.
