A slightly underwhelming name for this show stopping piece ... To me I see a constellation or the Milky Way but can’t quite pin a name to this new series. The commissioned brief was rainbow black to brights butterflies on a black background and this was the inspired result - a rainbow of sparkles and sheens with a stunning line of genuine 24crt gold leaf butterflies to add glamour and preciousness to the piece. It is one of my favourite pieces to date and comes with so many potential opportunities, I would so love to make versions in different sizes, graduating colours, a large square would be amazing.. options are endless.
This piece was framed with a glass front and packaged and sent from London to its forever home in Houston Texas. Commissions are welcome.
