Artist's description:

This is an idea I’ve had for a while now and felt it was time to bring it to life. I wanted to convey the vastness and beauty of the ice cliffs of the artic circle with the polar bears as a focal point. The polar bears also bring scale to the landscape and also a loneliness.
I started with wet in wet watercolours and then overlaid layer upon layer of white acrylic paint to achieve the subtle colour and texture of the ice.
This artwork was created with a 'muted' palette accentuating the soft, tranquility and silence of the Arctic landscape.
