Artist's description:

Gentle hazy piece painted after viewing some of the stunning imagery captured by the Hubble Telescope. I love the visuals of the rolling dust clouds and star nurseries, all set against a velvety darkness. I find it hard to put into words just how much the fascinating vastness of space inspires me.

This painting has a rather textural sort of surface after being painted over a couple of times - I've tried to capture this in the detail photos and also to reflect this in the price. The painting is a combination of black fading into deep blue and layered over with vibrant flourescent pink cloud-like forms. The final two images were taken outdoors and show the rich blue base colour beautifully.

The fluorescent pigment used was Sennelier Fluo Pink (654); areas of the pink section also share similar tones to RAL colour 4003.

Edges are painted black & the painting is signed on the back.
