Artist's description:

Huge polar bears are the most skilled swimmers of all species of bears, they can swim continuously for 7 days. Their huge paws help them to move in the water with a speed of 10km/h.
It is the largest carnivore of all species of bears and the most persistent and patient.

I was inspired to paint this artwork, after read "Fram, the Polar Bear" by Cezar Petrescu to my little doughter. The main character, Fram is a white polar bear in a circus Struțki, where he is really an artist.
He is sent back to the North Pole which is the natural environment, because it does not support captivity like other animals at the circus.
In my painting I tried to represent the natural environment of the polar bears.

Symbol: White Bear symbolizes life in peace and harmony, is a symbol of power and strength.

The technique is mixed and is defined by overlapping layers of colors used: acrylic, oil and enamel.

Last coat of gloss varnish gives preciousness and protects artwork by harmful external factors.
