One of the benefits of going on holiday in the latter part of September, is that if the weather is blustery, you can get to see some good waves along the coast. We enjoyed a stroll at Nolton Haven in Pembrokeshire one evening as the light levels were going down, and it was both invigorating and atmospheric - a scene I wanted to paint on my return home.
