This was painted while we were travelling in Scotland and fell in love with this little fishing village . I have exaggerated the colors of the cottages and we were in awe of the sunrise , the yellow skies and the huge cloud looming forth . The shapes and colors of the cottages were greatly inspiring so I took some photos and sketches and completed the canvas back in London .
