This is a study of Sunflowers in a green jug. It is influenced by Van Gogh one of my favourite artists. The study of Sunflowers inspires me because of their different shapes and sizes. Even when they are drooping their petals make such interesting shapes. The colours radiateI happiness. I have used good quality oil paints for this artwork as they are sympathetic to this subject. There are different varieties and shades of sunflowers all inspiring. The beautiful sun colours radiate happiness.
