This sunflower painting is called Summer Time. I used palette knife art technique and the soft earthy tones to create this semi abstract, floral landscape painting. I believe this beautiful painting will be a nice addition to your home or office. I hope when you are looking at this serene artwork, you can imagine yourself lying down in a field of sunflower, looking up at the sky and you see the sunflowers dancing in a wind above you.

This is an original artwork, painted with acrylic paints and marble powder. I mix marble powder with my paints to create texture and distressed look. The sides of the canvas are painted and it's ready to hang. I always use 1.5" thick gallery wrapped cotton canvas for its durability and its 3D effect. The canvas is stretched over high quality pine wood frames and stapled on the back providing a clean finish on the sides. Since the sides are painted, the painting can be left unframed for the contemporary look.
