A striking contemporary abstract paper weaving using many shades of green and brown.
It was the fresh green which was the inspiration for this piece. The acid free paper was cut into 1cm wide strips and woven together composing with the colours as the weaving progressed. PH neutral glue was used to secure joins giving a flexible artwork which won't unravel.
The fresh colour of this modern abstract piece would work well in a domestic kitchen, or a cafe or restaurant. When closely examined there are many small details to appreciate in this piece as well as it's overall appearance.
