Artist's description:

In this painting, I explore the topic of our life from a standpoint of a dream and through the prism of a dream. This picture had never been put up for sale before, as it was a part of my personal collection. It was a time when I was looking for answers to many questions. The work “A Summer Dream” is about the subconscious search for answers to very complicated questions and it will finally help the owner to get answers to these questions. For me this painting is my personal analogy of "Solaris", an outstanding film by Andrey Tarkovsky (A Russian Producer, 1932- 1986, famous for his movies “Andrey Roublev”, “Zerkalo” (Mirror), Nostalgia, etc.) and works by Steven Soderberg. This painting is about the inner search of the "self". It is a contemplation on how high our spirit and thought can fly when it to comes to know our universe and ourselves. The dog here is a reference to fidelity in the broad and complex sense of the word, the faithfulness of the soul to the body and the body - to the soul.
