Beutiful bright colourful artwork . Very light and airy , immediately will bring memories of hot vivid sunny days of summer . Its quite large , the edges have been painted over , therefore can be hanged without a frame .
Painted in a style of contemporary realism . I was trying to capture the sunlight that can be seen through the branches of the weeping willow reflecting on the ground and the edges of the boat . The brushstrokes are thick with some splashes of colour left on the canvas . The work is bursting with colour and the energy of nature .
