This is an appropriation! For a little while, I was receiving compliments that my work is reminiscent of that of Salvador Dali, I researched him and decided his painting “Suez” is my favourite. I then decided to appropriate it. I found the original quite funny, this is a play on that and perhaps a continual.. Both slightly comical.
This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones and always sold with hooks ready to hang!
