Artist's description:

A modest study of a master
Nighthawks is a painting of 1942, whose 1921 engraving entitled Shadows of the Night or Nocturnal Shadows but also "strange atmosphere" in the American dialect of Edward Hopper, as well as the 1927 Drug Store paint seem to mark the beginnings [1] . The title is sometimes translated into French as Noctambules, but more often The Night Rangers [1], [3] or Night Birds [4], of the English "hawks" which literally means "falcon" but also " A rapacious man who founds his prey "in slang [3]. If the word "rangers" can give a sinister meaning to the painting by its connotation to the hunting bird, the translation by "birds" remains far from the supposed reality of the painting.
