Artist's description:

I often glance out the window of my second storey apartment at the groups of people waiting at the bus stop after dark. I notice how the streetlights cast parts of their form in a soft glow, and leave other areas in shadow. For this print I imagined the same phenomenon in an urban park. A girl walks down a road while light from the overhead lamps reflects off of her back. The same effect is had on the surrounding landscape, as areas of the trees, grass, and cobblestone street are lit up amongst the darkness. The subject is also inspired by my own enjoyment of solitary walks. There is something highly therapeutic about moving through the landscape lost in thought.

As all prints are hand pressed, each will have some minor differences, which I believe adds to the character of the print. I cannot guarantee that you will receive the edition featured in the photo.
