This is a large watercolour painting of the stormy skies that were gathering over the mountains recently when I was away on holiday. Sunny days are all very well, but frankly a bit boring from an artistic point of view! When the skies started to darken, that was it the paints had to come out! This is an expressive interpretaion using top quality Daniel Smith and Windsor and Newton watercolours on heavy Saunders Waterford paper with a deckle edge (shown in one of the photos).
The mountainous country over which I was looking was Albania from our fabulous villa in north east Corfu, but the scene may remind you of somewhere else that is close to your own heart.
All my pictures are signed originals and will be sent to you carefully wrapped and insured during transit, I use strong, recycled packaging whenever possible. My paintings have been purchased by buyers all around the world, including Australia, USA and France.
