While on location and created "en plein air".
An impressionistic interpretation, inspired by the coast.

Looking out from the Coastguard Cottages.
Stormy atmospheric clouds linger over the point,
after the passing storm. Low clouds misty rain.
Sun breaking through sparkling on sea below.
A minimum colour palette of browns blues greys.

The watercolour artwork is one of a collection of fifteen,
created while on location in Devon, September 2018.

One of my original and unique landscape watercolour paintings.
Memorising, walking, sketching, and painting.

Using artists quality archival paints and archival paper.
It is supplied ready to frame, immaculately presented with an archival mount (mat),
which is illustrated in images above. The size of mount is very effective for a landscape scene.
