Artist's description:

An original, unique alkyd (fast drying oil) painting on primed board, varnished, expressing the colour sensibility of the artist and keen sense of observation. I love arranging small pots, bottles, fruit and vegetables in a pleasing composition. I came across this little jug on ebay and had to include it in a painting. The Possil or Saracen Pottery was constructed in 1881 and produced a range of commercial stoneware until 1942 when it closed. I was born and grew up near the area where the old pottery building and kilns stood.
Inspired by the master still life painter Giorgio Morandi, this artwork will give the Artfinder collector as much pleasure as Fraser had in creating this artwork.
