Artwork description:

This image is created from original photographs taken at Mousehole Harbour on the Cornish Coast. It has been created by layering and juxtaposing up to 30 different photographs to create an entirely new scene, which captures a sense of this beautiful place, enclosed and protected by a solid harbour wall.

When the tide was out, I saw the boats tethered by long green seaweed covered ropes. These ropes criss crosse each other like flower stems, hence the title of the work.
