Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This artwork was created when I was going through a particularly rough patch and all artworks echo the moods of their painters, and this does but I love this creation. This first painting 'Stay With Me' was an exploration of fragility between the two characters, she's holding on to him but it could so easily be the other way around. They are together and you can feel that there is a lot going on in this picture that is unsaid. In 'When Love Is Lost' I can really feel the the flower creature hanging on for dear life to the stem that is holding him up. My flower creatures are usually created so that they can be deciphered as either male or female by the whoever is viewing the artwork. But this one was painted as and intended to be male. This artwork is a twin painting to the creation 'When Love is Lost' and my intention is that they are sold and kept together.

Tissue paper gives the dimensional effect to the painting on the poppies flower heads and on the flower creatures, to make them stand out a little more than they would if the painting was flat.

This price stated reflects that the painting is sold with its twin and both come with a certificate of authenticity and an artists statement. It is the intention that these artworks are eventually framed by the buyer, and so they also come with signed mounts.
