Original artwork description:

This is an ink drawing with a BIC biro pen created as a study of St Peter by El Greco as seen in situ at El Greco Museo in Toledo. The drawing explores the way in which El Greco explores the portrait of St Peter, through the use of an everyday item - in this case, a biro pen and the creation of a 'no frills' icon.

This explores the relationship between the everyday and the spiritual via an object associated with writing and business.

Materials used:

Biro Pen on Cartridge Paper
