A scene close to my heart, this view is taken from a walk my Mum used to do on an almost daily basis. I plan to re-create the same image for each of the four seasons, hence the title.
The simple composition is a view of a number of fields on the outskirts of Dronfield Woodhouse, on the edge of The Peak District.
I'm trying to take my work in a slightly different direction from other recent work. I'm keen to involve fresh graphical elements, hence I introduced a half-tone dot to depict the blossom on the trees. It's a bit of fun, but one that works well I think.
