I took this photo on my first visit to Gloucestershire, to a good friend's wedding. The venue was in a great barn in the middle of beautiful countryside. It was a spring day but someone had forgotten to tell the weather that! There was a huge hail storm which made the sky look strangely 3D and as I watched through huge windows, I thought there has to be a rainbow out there. I ran outside in a dress and heels and there was the rainbow. The light was great and the yellow of the rape field contrasting with the green of the grass worked really well. It looked beautiful and was worth getting a bit cold. It was also a lovely omen for my newly married friends.
