So this seems like a scene, created by Disney, right? But this was, truthfully, the scene each morning this Spring. It has been bumper year for bunnies and this horse's field is brimming with life- including a huge rabbit population. The squirrels love to run along the fence taunting my dogs as they have their morning walk, the fearless bunnies eat, the birds sing and quite often there are deer crossing the road or in the woods depicted in background of this print.
How can you not be inspired to try and capture that scene? So the sketching and planning for my very own Ode to Spring began!
The ink used is artist quality archival ink, and it has been printed onto Japanese Hos-ho paper, by hand in the traditional way.
The print is mounted in a white mount board with a black core which sets it off wonderfully. It is sealed in a cellophane envelope, ready to give as gift or to pop into a frame. Each print is posted in cardboard envelope.
The mounts fit a standard 12" x 10" frame. The image size is 8" by 6" approximately.
All are signed and dated by the artist. This print is a limited edition of 10.
A certificate of authenticity which details the print process is included with each print.
