Throughout my time teaching at United Tribes Technical College, I was taught by many of my colleagues (who I consider close friends and/or family members) the importance of the buffalo to the Plains people. I've always been attracted to these large strong beasts and before my teaching days I would go out on the prairie and bring vegetable scraps from home or the grocery store to feed the herd at the Cross Ranch State Park. I learned a lot watching how the herd operated and the hierarchy of the herd. To many lessons learned for the space allowed. If you want to discuss "Bison" more feel free to contact me.
