Artist's description:

An oil painting inspired by the history and culture of the area in which I live: Taos, New Mexico. The Anasazi, early inhabitants of the Southwest, left their original inhabited areas for unknown, only conjectured reasons. They were to become the ancestors of the Pueblo Indians living in the Four Corners area of the Southwest. This painting is a tribute to their spirit which still lives in the Native Americans today--a culture rich in history and spirituality. The Anasazi live on in Native American spirit.
