Roosters are wonderful subjects with their colorful personalities and a certain attitude.I like painting them in expressive watercolor using a lot of texture,splashes and splatters.However, this one is a white feathered rooster with black speckles.I have used wet-in-wet technique to create his red crown which merges softly with the background.The feathers have been painted crisply to give the painting a certain balance.
