Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This painting was inspired by a trip to Mijas in southern Spain, where my friends and i enjoyed the delights of watching traditional Spanish flamenco dancing in the pavilion in the town square. There were three women dancers, and this painting is of one of them, worked up from many photographs i took on the day. I used some artistic licence with the colour of the dancers costume to give a better colour balance in this painting.
Another painting exists of the other two dancers where i have left the costumes in their original colours of yellow and brown.
My enduring memory of that day was the fast swirling movement of the dancers dresses as they swished them to and fro to the flamenco music, and it is this movement that i have tried to capture in my painting.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint and pastels.
