Southwold is such a beautiful little seaside town. It has a lovely sandy beach, beautiful pier, and the best fish, straight off the boats, for sale at the harbour.
I am lucky enough to have been asked to produce a card range for the Southwold bookshop which opened last year in the town. So this is one of the originals from that range. It is one of the most popular (the lighthouse being the other).
This photograph doesn't quite catch the subtle colour changes, how the sea is a little luminous just beneath the stormy sky and the many blues in the sea. So if you do buy this painting, you are in for even more of a treat when you receive it and look at it for the first time.
It is mounted in a beautiful, soft white double mount, which finishes it beautifully and is a standard frame size. It is cellophaned for protection so it is ready to frame or give as a gift.
I hope you love it!
