The southern flying squirrel may look like any other small rodent as it scrambles through the forest, but it can glide through the air from tree to tree with the grace and precision of a bird.
The flying squirrel does not 'fly' in the true sense of the word : rather than powering itself through the air like a bird,It glides on the outspread membranes of furry skin that link its wrists and ankles. this ability helps it move from tree to tree without encountering predators at the ground level. I fond very interesting animal to draw it. I try to bring more details in my all painting. This Flying squirrel is now looking for new home!
