Artist's description:

A painting from the series ''The Tree of life''. Trees are symbols of life from millennial. Trees are source of oxygen, food, water and shelter - they spark of the limitless.

"I created this work during my retreat in a mountain hut. It captured the magic in the hidden complexity of the mountain. There was a small pound full of life, mystery and adventure which inspired me to create it. I glue and press bark pieces together to create a base for a three dimensional composition. This produces a surface that is rich in detail and a very gentle relief. Then I paint, carefully observing the curves, forms and shapes that appear on the bark like ghosts."

The photos of the unframed painting are made on sunny day with a lot of light.
The photos of the framed painting are made on cloudy day with soft light.
