This painting is an oil on deep edge canvas, of the view from a mile down the lane by my father's house. The view is across from the Tobermory Golf Course over to the mainland towards Lochaline. I'm interested in the way the painting has a hint of blockiness to the areas of focus, like a screenprint or poster. Some are's are quite simplified and aren't re-worked at all, others are detailed with a lot of work. I've tried to create an interesting composition and intriguing application of the oils.
Measuring 30cm square, on good quality English deep-edge canvas, the painting is signed on the front and varnished.
Artist's oil paint, liquin, sansador, canvas.
