Artist's description:

On a perfectly overcast cool early morning in Amboselli National Park we headed out by vehicle in search of wild Elephants. In no time we were surrounded by hundreds of them from babies to mature Bulls that stood 10 or more feet at the shoulder. They were marching across the dry plains towards richer food sources and water holes. I sensed this was a journey they'd done hundreds of times over. We were right in the middle of their path when we stopped the engine and sat silently in awe of this extraordinary spectacle of wild nature. The huge herds of Elephant gracefully moved around us and onwards on their journey. It was the first time I'd seen such a large number of Elephants made up from different matriarchal families.
