The title of the painting means... To let go, Nothing to Celebrate at the Bottom of the Sea. It represents the correlation of the abusive nature of mankind towards the oceans and thus towards mankind itself. As the oceans continue to be polluted more and more people that care about the environment find it more and more difficult to understand and to celebrate that which should make us humans, our own humanity.
