Artist's description:

Neolithic monuments are strewn throughout
the United Kingdom. But the Ring of Brodgar
on the Orkney Islands may be the oldest in the
British Isles. No written records why these were created,
researchers presume it was to catch the rising,
setting sun/moon, or the seasonal solstice.

This painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges. It comes framed and ready to hang.
