Artist's description:

This is an acrylic painting on canvas. It is essentially abstract expressionism in the mold of Wassily Kandinsky, but it also borrows from Piet Mondrian's abstract geometric forms to create a more formalized, sequential structure. It is meant to convey the formal similarities and the contextual differences we perceive in one another, despite our attempts to conform to any rigid social structure and its non-intuitive restrictions. Basically, we are all a universe of unique possibilities and perspectives, which we attempt to disguise as being similar or identical to all of those around us. In failing to accept our innate uniqueness, we do both ourselves and those around us a great disservice.

Materials used:

acrylic on canvas.
