Artist's description:

I began this process by taking old bed sheets that had seen some stuff. I cut the sheets into squares and bunched them up into balls tied off at the ends with rubber bands. This made a ton of girl fist sized balls. I then used these balls with every green paint I could find to create a graffiti like foliage. I really wanted the green to look like it came out of a spray can at first.
I was on the floor of my living room for days just going over and over these swirls. And when I stepped back I saw snakes. So I added a tree, with bark that looked like Birch and structure like an oak.
While I was in the process of painting this I had a cable guy at the house to fix my box. He commented that it needed a red apple. But I never could ruin that sea of green with the red.

Materials used:

bed sheets, oil paint, palette knives
