Artist's description:

Smoke Kills has multiple readings. The first one is an exhibit of an actual cigarette dying on the tip of a tongue. In the narrative of the painting, the Emperor is the one crushing the cigarette on the tongue. Doing so leads to the second reading, he is drawing a path to a golden door through the shape of the now dead cigarette. The painting can symbolizes how getting rid of addictions unleashes the power and opens unexpected doors.

Currently in Exhibition.
