This has been inspired by the recent media attention of the Artist, Tracey Emin who has recently married a Rock at her home in France (see link below). In my previous work, I have been exploring the colours of Ayers Rock in Australia, and this is a natural progression of this work. The title of the work 'Smiley Face with Heart Eyes of Ayers on Tracey Island ZZZzzz' (A to Y, but not Z)' refers to the emoticon of 'Smiley face with heart eyes...', (is a nod to Tracey is well known for producing works with Love Hearts), 'Ayers on Tracey Island ZZZzzz' (is a nod to Ayers Rock which is similar to Tracey's Rock, is a nod to Tracey Island, as in Thunderbirds, which is large massive Rock, I have linked the words A to Y to the alphabet, but with Z crossed out, to suggest that some may say they disprove of the work (sent to sleep, indicated by ZZZzzz), and others may like it!
This work is has been hand-mixed by the Artist by using Primary Colours to form Yellow-Ochre and is part of the Earth Element, and is the opposite contrast, from previous work 'Angry face of Ayers to Oz'
This is piece of Conceptual Art. It is to form a series of unique but repetitive works. This has been inspired by the film Australia. The Artist is replicating the land by using earth colours similar to that used in Aboriginal Art ie. Earth element of Ayers Rock, Australia

*** Due to the drying and curing process of the work on thin paper, the work has natural creases in it, which add to the character of the piece, suggesting the folds creases formed naturally on the surface of Tracey's Rock and Ayers Rock
