Here you see a 1920's Craftsman style house with all its admirable details. I love the beams and shingles and windows of these houses. There are many of them here in Florida. In creating this picture I wanted to make it two shades of blue (the original building was yellow). So I chose this soft aqua and contrasted it with the blue sky, white and maroon trim and charcoal gray roof. I repeated that gray in the windows, which seem to give nothing away. The frame is the same color.
Somehow I never get tired of looking at this picture - it transports me.
